Whingate has three thriving young people groups:

Girls’ Brigade (30)

Boys’ Brigade (50)

Mums and toddlers (50-60)

It also hosts a luncheon club for the elderly each week and a bright hour who meet once a month.

 

Numerous outside groups rent the premises including:

Keep fit, Russian language group for children

Lighthouse International Chapel

Yoga, Dance

Local history group.

 

The building also houses the Circuit office.

About us

 

Whingate, built in 1884 is a modern inner city multi-purpose church building. The church has a membership of 34.
In the life of the church there is a close fellowship with a weekly junior church and a monthly family worship service.
