About Us

Our church building is quite modern, having been opened in 1976 and includes full disabled access. It is a multi-purpose building, with a large flexible sanctuary area, large hall and numerous comfortable rooms and is situated in the middle of a busy community.

We currently have 35 members, all age worship is held on the second Sunday of each month and Communion is generally the fourth Sunday of the month. We share a Minister with Headingley Methodist Church.

 

Our Church is a unique mixed race Church with members from many countries including the Caribbean and Zimbabwe, as well as the UK. Our members are of a large age range from babies to more experienced folk.

 

We are a ‘Children Friendly’ Church and have a special children’s area at the front of the Church, with children’s furniture and activities. Children may play here during the services or join in the Junior Church activities. Baby changing and toilet training facilities are also available.

 

We have a large, warm modern building with a Taizé style candle display for Worship focus. Newcomers always comment on how warm and welcoming we are.
